This week we are throwing it was back to an old favorite in honor of it’s movie release. Drumroll….
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead
This is a bit of a throwback. An oldie but a fabulous goodie. We loved this series. Enjoyed everyone of the six books and felt every imaginable emotion within humanity. Rose is an incredible kicka$$ character and I wanted to be her. I loved Dimitri and their story. I loved Lissa, Christian, Adrian, Jill and Mason. This is such a well developed story and we totally recommend you read it if you haven’t already. If you have, take a moment to reminisce each of your favorite moments between the dhampirs and vampires.
While reminiscing get yourself to the movie theater and go watch the movie coming out this weekend. The casting looks spot on! I cannot wait to see these actors bring this story to life. It looks like the film has a good amount of indie quirk, angst and plenty of dark suspense! From what we have heard, Vampire Academy fans will not be disappointed.
