Tressa at Tressa’s Wishful Endings hosts Friday Favorites and we thrilled to join her. You can check out her Friday Favorite here.
Today our favorite is All of You (Between Breaths #1) by Christina Lee.
Christina Lee set such a high standard for her first book! We found it by chance and became obsessed. It is a great book and an even greater start to the Between Breaths series. I love the stereotype reversals in this story and the relationship between Avery and Bennett is smokin’ hot. This story has the perfect amount of drama, sexual tension and foundational friendships. If you have not jumped on this train, you had better get yourself on board! You will not be disappointed. Keep reading for the book synopsis from Goodreads and a little teaser to strike your fancy!

Avery has just met her hot upstairs neighbor. He’s irresistible. Tattooed. And a virgin.
Nursing student Avery Michaels wants nothing to do with dating—she’s perfectly happy single. Privy to too many of her mother’s bad decisions and even worse taste in boyfriends, all Avery can handle is a string of uncomplicated hookups whenever the mood strikes.
When she meets smoking hot tattoo artist Bennett, she wants him—for just one night. But he won’t accept a no-strings-attached arrangement. He lives by a straight-laced code of values based on his own troubled upbringing.
Bennett sees something special in Avery and he wants more from her. Way more. As Avery wrestles with her emotions for Bennett, danger and tragedy force them to open up to each other. And Avery must face the terrifying realization that she wants more from him, too.
So she needs to make a choice—let Bennett go or finally let him in.

I was cognizant of Bennett’s every move. Like a current humming through the air. Every swallow of his beer, every time his arm came down with the bottle and brushed alongside mine. When he reached over to turn up the volume on the remote, his thigh rubbed against my shorts and I nearly flinched.
I was like some love sick tween desperate to have my crush notice me.
As the movie played on, I finished my beer and became increasingly drowns. During the big battle scene, my head slumped toward his should in the twilight of sleep. Bennett’s arm slinked behind my neck as he nudged closer. When his fingers made small circular motions up and down my arm, my heart pumped an inordinate amount of blood through my veins.
I wasn’t sure if he realized the impact his touch had on me.
