Tina’s Thoughts on Elsker (The Elsker Saga #1)…..
I have fallen in love with the world of Ull and Kristia. This is a fabulous NA paranormal story and I cannot wait to read more! I enjoyed the Norse mythology so much. Hearing familiar names like Thor and Odin made this story better. First off, I loved the writing. This book was well written and created a world that was easy to take in and explore as you read. Second, I loved the characters. Kristia is a fabulous lady. Her transformation from wallflower to independent woman was believable and relatable. I loved watching her embrace her abilities and life choices. Her roommates, Emma and Victoria, from Cardiff University, sounded like wonderful flat mates to have. Inga and Ardis sound like a dream best friends, connecting Kristia to both her past and future. Then there is Ull. Where do I even begin? Be still my heart. He is a keeper. A man who is strong yet sensitive. A warrior willing to do anything to protect but a kind heart ready to love and embrace. He is an overall fabulous book boyfriend! The plot development was well paced and I am excited to see how things pan out in the rest of the series. This is a good clean story that introduces the reader to a world open for exploration! It sets up the series well and makes you wait in weary anticipation for Ragnarok to take place. I cannot wait to see Ull and Krisitia’s story unfold and see what will happen next. Make sure to check out the first installment of the Elsker Saga. You won’t be disappointed!
Tina’s Thoughts on Tur (The Elsker Saga #1.5)…..
This novella is the perfect story to read once you have been introduced to the Elsker Saga. It provides a bit more history about Ull and his best friends, Inga and Gunnar. It shows their life before coming to Earth, before Kristia was a part of Ull’s life. There are glimpses of life in Asgard and the mounting threat of Ragnarok. I loved getting to see Gunnar and Inga in their home environment and see a bit more of their relationship. They are adorable. Seeing Ull in Asgard, so sad and lonely, about breaks your heart. I love how it introduces their trip to Cardiff University and touches on Elsker’s prophecy for Ull and Kristia. It will make you fall more in live with this saga and trio from afar!
