Sometimes wrong can feel oh so right . . .

I love the Finding Fate series. I love Pixie, Levi, Kayla and Daren. When I found out that the third book was about Jenna, I could not wait to read it! I was so excited and needless to say, it was better than I thought it would be. Jenna was always one of my favorite secondary characters in the other stories. Her personality bleeds off the page. I love the attitude and fierce friendship that is embodied in the exotic tattooed beauty that is Jenna. She would always make me laugh! In Right Kind of Wrong, Jenna comes into the spotlight and her larger than life attitude is displayed in such a way that the reader cannot help but connect with her. She is a determined woman, one who has a plan and anything that interferes with that plan is immediately rejected and ignored. Her dreams for an art studio and a life of stability cannot be interrupted, no matter what form that comes in, especially the infuriatingly sexy and sweet Jack. What they have is a friendship that is about to catch fire, yet Jenna refuses to acknowledge the connection and deep feelings. However, one road trip causes them to feel their many emotions, to acknowledge their chemistry and decide what will happen with all the many levels of connection between them.
There is nothing better than a good road trip story. I love taking road trips and using that theme in a story usually hooks me instantly. It is a perfect scenario to make a character deal with a person or situation which they continue to ignore. Jenna and Jack have been friends for a while and after one seemingly drunk moment, everything is strained and confusing. Jenna cannot seem to allow her heart to feel the emotion that it longs to. Her friendship with Jack is something she values and she refuses to risk the relationship and her heart to a future that, in her worldview, cannot end well. Poor Jack knows that all he will ever want is Jenna. They fit perfectly and he does all within his power to prove this point to her. He lays his heart on the line time and time again and attempts to pursue her, in an effort to show her that her dreams would not be forfeit in a life with him, but so much fuller and brighter. Throughout the story, there were times I wanted to shake some sense into Jenna and smack Jack across the back of his head. Both characters had a hard life growing up, and many issues from their upbringing are still trying to dictate their lives in the present. Jack is determined to protect his family in any way he can but it requires him to step into a role he had long ago abandoned, one that Jenna knows nothing about. She refuses to sit idly by watch things happen, which drives poor Jack crazy. She is determined to nit pick and dive head first into his life, because she cares so much that she can’t ignore what is happening. Jenna and Jack are one of the perfect book couples you cannot ignore. They chemistry is on fire. Their friendship is deep. They will do whatever it takes to support each other. They are truly made for one another. I loved reading the little moments in which Jack sees deep to the soul of Jenna, in moments where she cannot hide her emotions and her joy. The hope and anguish are so heartbreaking at times but in the end love overcomes and births dreams that cannot be ignored. It is like a breath of fresh air is infused into Jenna’s plans for the future and they become so much better than she thought or planned.
Right Kind of Wrong will wring your heart out and infuse it with hope and longing. This story is full of love and pursuit. When their pasts collide with the future, Jack and Jenna go deep into the darkness, holding onto each other. This books is the perfect blend of the romance, suspense, reconciliation and fun!
