Bittersweet… That is what this moment is. I am slammed by the realization that I will not be writing another review for this series, or reading this story with first time ever again. It is sad yet so unbelievably right. Bran and Talia are some of my favorite New Adult characters and I am thankful to Lia Riley for her writing and incredible portrayal of two amazing people. INSIDE OUT is the perfect ending to this incredible series. Lia gives us exactly what we want and need to end this series with a BANG!

When you start reading from page one, this book has you hitting the ground running, no stopping. INSIDE OUT picks up exactly where SIDESWIPED ends. Talia is in Africa, working with the Peace Corps and Bran is in Antarctica, two people living their dreams. I love the dual POVs in this book. There is a lot going on from page one and it is perfect to see what is brewing beneath the surface for both Talia and Bran. These two have been through a ridiculous amount of ups and downs. Their relationship has not been easy but it is perfect. The questions is, will they have their happily ever after?

Talia. I just LOVE Talia’s character. She is strong, sweet, vulnerable, wonderful, and the perfect companion to Bran. I love seeing such a strong female lead who has mental struggles. Her OCD and anxiety is so well developed and gives readers insight to the realities that many people face. This theme brings light to a dark reality and shows that there is hope and no shame. It is these seeming weaknesses that actually give her so much strength and determination. When the second books ends, she has such a handle on her OCD and anxiety, yet when the Africa crisis nearly destroys her, she is back to square one with a vengeance. Watching her work through everything again and attempt to put her sanity back together again is heart breaking. She is lost and terrified, yet so brave. She allows love to heal her heart and mind again, bringing back the strong and confident Talia we know and love!

Bran. Be still my rapidly beating heart. There are a lot of book boyfriends out there, but for me, one of my top notch favorites is Bran. He is the perfect blend of a$$hole and lover. He is raw and edgy but when Talia begins to smooth the edges, he is perfect. His strength exudes a man who has the potential to change the world. Bran is in a place of uncertainty with his future and life as a whole, but the only thing he knows with clarity is that he cannot be in this world without Talia. He pursues her, loves her, helps her put the pieces back together. And if his hidden sensitivity and gloriousness was not enough, he is sexy as hell. This man exudes confidence and alluring appeal that leaves you breathless. There is nothing left to say but Bran is awesome!

Put two such complex and well written characters together, along with their growth from two pervious books and a passionate, earth shattering love, and BAM, it is the perfect conclusion to the series. This book has it all. There is major drama (the good kind) and intrigue. The passion between these two is INCREDIBLE. I blush about it but what can I say, it wouldn’t be Bran and Talia is it wasn’t spontaneous, hot, and mind-blowing. The sexy moments are even hotter and the sweet moments are liable to rot your teeth they are so perfect and sweet! INSIDE OUT allows us to see this couple in the most dire of situations but also living in the simplest scenarios, like applying for jobs and planning life together. It is such a well rounded story that allows you to find closure and peace with the end of an incredible series without realizing what is happening. This book, quite literally, is the perfect ending. There is no other way for this series to end and I am glad that I was along for the ride. Bran and Talia, I will miss you but always come back for a visit! Lia Riley, you are wonderful and I cannot wait to see what you have up your sleeve. Your writing is genius and I just want to squeeze your neck so hard! Thank you for giving us an incredible book series and new imaginary friends for life!
