I was curious where Kandi was going to take us after last weeks episode. That one was a doozy! This week was a bit more subtle but no less brilliant. Kandi takes some of my favorite characters in this episode and presents decisions and thoughts that will no doubt begin to create a subtle shift in their planned directions. Cassie, Skyler, Bear, and Jess are all making steps into something new, whether that is choices about the future, or redefining who they are. These chapters allow the reader to see that something is coming for them, something big with the ability to alter their path. It is a shift in their mindsets and an entertainment of what could be. I am loving getting to see more of Cassie and Grayson, as well as the beginning of Skyler’s big time fame in her poker career. I love Bear’s personality and seeing him more! I cannot wait to see what happens with Jess and Jarrett as a result of the moments they had in this episode. Overall, this installment was not quite as shocking but no less awesome and vital to what is happening. In this spisode, we don’t need a big reveal and shocking chapters like we needed last time, just something small that creates what I am sure will be life changing waves. I am dying to know what happens during Spring Break and cannot wait for next Tuesday!
Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa with her husband. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.
Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).
When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.
