This book is one sexy ride. Talk about sexual turbulence (snicker snicker)! Landing the Air Marshall is a whole new side to Jennifer Blackwood’s writing. This story is filled with passionate, lust filled moments that are blended with two people learning to take hold of what they want in life, no matter how far-fetched it may seem. This new release might be a bit more short on words than I was expecting but there is no shortage of drama, angst, and sexual tension.
Gage and Abby take a leap in the moment and it changes everything. I loved how you can literally feel their tension as you read this book. It is much more sexy than anything I have read in a while, and especially from Blackwood, and it worked for these two very well. These two are a blend of passion and responsibility creatures, giving them a simple dichotomy that people can understand. This story primarily takes place in such a short amount of time yet it feels like these two have always been together. That is a talent that Blackwood brings to the story. You find yourself rooting for the insta-lust and insta-love connection, something I usually roll my eyes at in stories.
I would say that the Snowpocalyse series from Blackwood is bound to melt the cold. If this first installment is any indication, the heat levels with most definitely melt anything in their way.
