Another wingman bites the dust in this enemies to lovers story…

For the past year, I’ve been working my butt off to start my own coffee company on Whidbey.

A weekend in Cabo with sun, tiny bikinis, and vacation hook-ups is exactly the kind of tension relief I need.

What I don’t need is a bruised jaw, having to bribe my way out of jail, a hellion set on ruining my life, and my mother seeing a picture of my assets on “The Twitter.”

Caribou Caldwell is my worst nightmare.

Unfortunately, she’s also the star of my sexiest dreams.

What happens when a small town guy becomes the focus of a million fantasies? As Erik Kelso navigates his sudden notoriety, will his feelings for Cari turn out to be anything but love?

Anything but Love is the third book in the Wingmen series, a spin off of Modern Love Stories. Like Ready to Fall (Wingmen #1) and Confessions of a Reformed Tom Cat (Wingmen #2), it can be read as a standalone romantic comedy.

tina thoughts a review for you

It is safe to say that Daisy’s books keep getting better and better. I loved Anything But Love. Erik and Cari are brilliant. Their humor, banter, and angst play out so beautifully on the page. Daisy does an incredible job of bringing this hilarious haters to lovers story to life and grabbing a hold of your attention from the first page.

The Wingmen series is slowly becoming my absolute favorite from Daisy (aside from the standalone Stan the Man Bun- he is special. ha). Her boys are full of antics that makes me laugh and swoon in equal parts. It is no surprise that Erik Kelso fits the bill. This boy is glorious. Not only does he makes a wee bit of a mistake on impulse in Mexico that makes him insta-famous, he is kind, hilarious, genuine, and a sexy coffee connoisseur. Shall  I continue? Everything about this man makes him book boyfriend material. So naturally, I was laughing over his internal dialogue and swooning over his romantic ways.

Cari is so fun, a different heroine from Daisy in this series, an outsider. This girl is a handful that knows so little of island life and I loved how she kept Erik guessing, always on his toes, never knowing what was coming next. Their chance encounter left me curious as to what would happen next. Daisy brings the story together and starts off with a bang. Then when things come stateside, I was intrigued. Their chemistry is off the charts, a mixture of annoyance and insane attraction. Cari is the perfect match for this Kelso, a woman who doesn’t take his bullcrap and challenges him in so many ways.

Their story developed in ways I was not expecting and I enjoyed every minute of it. Daisy Prescott is well on her way to topping my list of book boyfriends. Do not miss this hilarious story full of impulses that follow you home, romance you never saw coming, and friends to make sure you never forget that one time in Mexico!
