I have so much love and respect for Cosway and her words. This woman, especially in this series, has the ability to make her readers take a step back and really look at situations in a new and unique way. I am not always a fan of teacher/student stories. In real life it is not so romantic, a fact that makes so many of these books something I am hesitant to read. But I love the Heart series and knowing this was Stu’s story got me hooked in the beginning.Thief of Hearts is a brilliant romance that couples the danger of a forbidden romance and an art heist that has danger looming over all those involved. Stu and Andie are brilliant. The chemistry between these two is fantastic. Andie and Stu seem so opposite in many ways but the differences they emody have the ability to make each other stronger. That fact makes this book so great. These two challenge each other in very different ways, making them couple you will love and cheer despite the obvious challenges in their path.

The danger and crime in this book gives the book a fun edge to entice readers. The grey area that Cosway is so good at sharing gives the reader a wonderful development of Stu’s character. This is one of my favorites parts. The Stu I have met in the series before is not the same man we meet today. He has changed from his time in prison, more cautious and serious, a man who is haunted and longs to belong. Getting to see more of who he is and the role Andie plays in his life gives depth to the stormy, one that is beautiful and emotional, full of heart and determination.

Fans of the Heart series will fall in love with Stu and Andie’s story. This book is written beautifully, giving readers a glimpse back into the Cross family and exploring the life of another brother in the family. I am so excited to see more of the family and see who is coming next!
