I have just finished this incredible collection of short stories and novellas. My first thought was “Penny Reid loves her readers.” Without a doubt, an author who listens to what we love and loves us enough to give us something more is top notch in my book. She loves us enough to give us exactly what we did not know we needed, but subconsciously have been begging for: more of the knitting group that we have fallen in love with!
This collection highlights each of the Knitting in the City Series books so far and gives us a taste of what is to come. It was perfect! Every single story was wonderful, giving us a happily ever after glimpse into our favorite couples. Each short story is so well written and expressed for each character, and I was a giggling and swooning mess through the whole thing. The stories bring you back to the moments you fell in love with each character in the series and allows you a moment to reconnect. They are the perfect scenarios and moments that portray my favorite personality traits of each character, causing me to want to read each and every word that Penny has written all over again! If I had to choose a most favorite favorite, it would probably be Greg and Fiona’s story, simply because it is a shadowing of an incredible book to come next year and I cannot wait to hear their love story!!
If you are a fan of the series, then stop what you are doing and grab this collection. It will give you exactly what you want and make you smile like a fool, albeit a happy and beautiful fool!
